I still feel that the anecdotes speak mostly toward women or feminine energy and wish there was more balance. Perhaps that’s just the limited perspective of the author (I am assuming), but it keeps me at a distance.

I started this few weeks ago and then stopped, for not particular reason. When I picked it up again (about 20% through) it took me a chapter or two to remember the large ensemble, but it's been a fast, terrifying ride since. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
