Kim Board is on page 100 of 273 of The Lost Teachings of the Cathars: Their Beliefs and Practices
Smith studies Gnosticism. He’s using that lens to try and tease out the Cathar theology & ritual behind statements recorded by The Inquisition. His sense of humor is occasionally evident. I think this is the only time I’ve laughed out loud while reading theology.

Kim Board is on page 200 of 306 of The Bone Woman: A Forensic Anthropologist's Search for Truth in the Mass Graves of Rwanda, Bosnia, Croatia, and Kosovo
Next time I teach Forensics, this will be assigned reading. It’s not just the science, though. This is her own personal story, so you get her feelings and responses to the horrors of genocide as well.

Kim Board is on page 170 of 373 of Maybe God was an Irishman: A charming story full of humor, passion, and Irishness.
It’s an entertaining story with a readable style. However, I figured out where the plot was going, and it’s hard for me to want to read anymore.
