My days at the end of the year are basically: 1) read Georgette Heyer, 2) add Heyer to my wishlist/shopping list, 3) figure out why in the storm have I not yet finished Frederica yet and can still feel like I'm alive?? xDD

so far doesn't have quite the charm as Brubaker's Winter Soldier collection I'd read earlier this year... but, I'm still going

apparently there can never be too many books on my Currently Reading shelf :P xD /hides behind my mood reader banner lol/

SUCH a glorious beginning. Once again, Wilson's giving me feat. a diverse blend of unique and wholly realistic cast AND premise. I LOVE SO MUCH/GIVEMEMORE

and really, the Aspects of the God are masterfully done~~

writing's on the simpler side (thus leaves me feeling slightly wanting), but the premise is very fun (heroine + supervillain ship ;) and probably what my brain and I need after a long and exhaustive work day =) Can't wait to see what Sandstorm's REALLY up to! xD

What are some books you consider as "GLORIOUS"? It may not be a Perfect Book when considering everything objectively, but with the parts that **have** made you go WOW simply outshone all the parts that are not so perfect.

I'm curious, that's all. ;)

there are gritty reads and there are comfort reads. this is one of those pallet-cleansing comfort reads that also has a gritty feel of reality and life struggles in it... /hearteyes/

Soooo.... apparently Regency + dark magic is A Thing that I'm For. xD

trying to laser point my tbr for this year with the 2023 reading challenge tag xD :P

So I didn't get to finish my Unfinished Pile of Currently Reading books like I'd wanted to before the EOY, but I **did** finish more books that I thought I would.

Also, finishing the Tangled Fae series by Sarah KL Wilson made me All Sorts of Happy. <33 Absolutely delightful. {If you liked The Cruel Prince series but was left thirsty for more JURDAN brilliance, read this series. ;D}

Comfort read. It's the good sort of writing in contemporary YA that I can't stop reading. See a lot of Ellie in me as well. There's a lot going on as well in the plot... can't wait to see what happens!

I've steered clear from the Christian Trad Published books for a long time due to many disappointments. THIS IS SO REFRESHING and I'm very impressed.
