Two things I really hope thriller writers would know by now

1. You need not keep a fugitive for long on phone to triangulate their location. It can be done in real-time with the advancement in technology.

2. Guns with suppressors do not just go 'pit-pit'. They have loud enough bang, which is lesser than when shot without suppressors, but still loud enough.

When I restarted reading non-academic books this year, I had no hopes of finishing the targeted 20 books. I had made similar targets for the last three years and failed badly due to various reasons.

However, this year the appetite seems to have been reignited. I have found my old love in reading and finished twenty books at a speed that I didn't anticipate.
