Candace has this amazing ability to turn fantasy themes on their heads, in the most clever and engaging way! I mean, I was kind of sold already from the first page!!!

This book is starting to mess with my head. In the best possible way.
My notes so far include words like: nightmarish, monstrous world, fog, mind-bending.

Also, holy mackerel, Batman! This is the most terrifying on-page <spoiler>death</spoiler> I've read in a while.

Now, THAT'S some excellent plotting.
(And yes, I totally just laughed out in a totally evil way as I was reading this book and now everyone at my day job is giving me strange looks.)

I get to read this one early and OMG I'm barely a chapter in and it's already unputdownable! What a fantastic premise!

So yeah, "douchecanoe" is my new favorite insult now. I'm just waiting for the right moment to use it on someone worthy:) there's also "twatwaffle" and I had to look up what it means. And now that I know what it means, it's my second favorite insult. After douchecanoe. So yeah, kids, Dare You To Lie is entertaining AND educational. Love it!
