This book is beginning to slow down and I'm getting some unnecessary stuff and almost repetitive information. I'm still enjoying it. Just hoping it starts to pick up in the next bit here. We will see.

Why do I get the sick feeling that Raith is actually an unbound....and how is Nessa exhibiting siphoning behavior? What the hell am I missing here?

It seems the yellow-haired human is displaying his mating conquests. Impressive. I can deduce he has a preference for large milk glands in sexual partners. Curious. Would those not prove a hindrance in combat? HAHAHAHA! I'm dead.

Angry human.....loving the nickname. Slow burn in this is exactly what you want in a romantasy. Fourth Wing vibes are strong here.....

Well, so far this book has me pretty engrossed in the story. Just started it yesterday, but so far I haven't been bored at all, or lost any interest in what's happening. It keeps pace really well and I'm liking the characters.

Read this book over a year ago, want to read the series now so listening to the audio book to reacquaint myself with the characters and the goings on. :) Already remembering why I loved this book....

I wish life would just let up a little bit so I could really spend some time with Vi and Xayden.... so far this book is fantastic, getting these up and down moments of intense happenings and then the information feeding between the intensity. Loving it, but life is kicking my butt and won't allow me the time I want to devote to it currently. Got a few days off coming, hoping to binge this!

All I'm going to say at this point is about freaking time!!!!!!! Concerns are still swirling something fierce though....I am highly worried this is going to wreck me when it's over.

DNF'd for now, can't get into it....thinking it may because it's on audiobook, going to try physical reading of this....

So let me bleed for you, my Queen. It would be a fucking honour........... my heart just melted in my chest and I can't breathe.

I am flying through this book. I can't put it down. I'm a generally fairly quick reader, but I quite literally can't put this down. My Kobo is going everywhere with me. Lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, morning get ready, cooking dinner, eating, all of it. Just when I think we may be finding resolution though another set of crap comes up they have to get though! When will these people catch a break!

LMFAO! Ok, so it's not very often that I will actually laugh out loud so hard at a book that I cry, until now.....

"Lance has got a mysterious ball rash." I legitimately bout fell outta my chair. Love this kid. Shouldn't, but do, can't help it. OMG!!!! I'm dead.

This book took off like a shot, not much dilly dallying around. Things are happening, and the story is progressing. I'm appreciating the small amount of comfort I'm getting in it, but still guarded because I know what's coming.... or at least I'm assuming the heartbreak is near....it's been proven over and over in these books.

So far, nothing promising but setup seems to be leading me places I wasn't quite expecting. The MM relationship is giving intrigue and angst, loving that. Nice to see a small amount of peace in the relationships although I'm fully prepared for this all to fall apart at any moment if the last 6 books are any indication of what's to come. On we go!

Here we go....that glimmer of hope returns, but I'm not falling for this again. I am prepared to endure the complete and utter destruction that I'm sure is about to happen....... my heart is locked down, you will not crush me again!

This is so hard to read....my gut twists in every chapter. There are glimpses of hope and glimmers of possibilities and then BOOM everything comes crashing down again. This roller coaster ride of emotion is ripping me apart bit by bit and I am loving it for some strange reason. From the tears, to the screaming in fury, to the cozy curl of my legs in my chair feeling, to the pain, I am eating it all up, it's scary!

Good lord what is happening!

I'm sorry.... excuse me....what in the actual *&$# is going on right now. My world is collapsing piece by piece. The center of the world ripped open and swallowed me whole. I don't know if I can make it through this. Are you kidding me right now? This is not supposed to be this way and what is wrong with him! Where did my professor go?

The stress is real ya'll..... irritation, waiting, maddening, with bits and pieces of comfort and love thrown in.... the emotional roller coaster continues.

I am shattered....that is all.....

His shame will taint me as well......... *sigh*

Officially raging now..... love books that elicit emotion like this.

OK, so, i'm in....i'm interested....i'm a little confused, which is what I love about Freida's writing. I have questions and not many answers, which is great for thrillers/mystery. Fairly slow buildup, I've gotten one answer thus far and the rest I am running through in my head trying to determine what I think the answers are to see if I'm right, which I'm probably not. Freida always surprises me.... onward we go!
