Switched to the audiobook because I had to return the physical book. It is going much faster now. Full disclosure the voice of Sybil does not fit the voice I had for her in my head.

Trying YA because the podcast “the black guy who tips” suggested it. He & his wife talked about this book when they talked about Cassie. He said the book is from the perspective of someone who experienced IPV.

I am listening to the audiobook at 1.45 speed. (Down from 1.75) It helps my mind not to wander the faster it goes 🙃

It is great! As usual, when a book is really good I want to stop it because I don’t want it to end. Plus my favorite actor is in it as well as a very good ensemble cast! For the last hour I’ve been looking up the author so I can have more material ready when it’s done.
