"nuanced exploration of colonialism and capitalism" where though?? Like I won't say it's a bad book but the whole reason I read this was because I thought it'd touch on capitalism and colonialism through a space fantasy. It's got nothing like that yet, only very subtle, generic suggestions about how capitalism is bad 😑

Only just realising that the book's title is a reference to the popular Korean card game Go-Stop. Lol.

Surprisingly, Wren's pov is not that bad and I'm actually liking the new characters so far!

Can't believe I read this much in 3 hours...

I tried to start reading this for the third time and it worked! Third time's the charm, as they say. Although the writing style is a bit unnecessarily descriptive, I do like the main characters and their dynamics! They're really funny lol. And it also seems to take inspiration from Sherlock Holmes, which is only my favourite detective fiction series in the whole wide world. So yeah, I'm enjoying this!

Okay so the characters are finally growing on me! 75% in lol

Returning to this one after a long break doesn't really change what I've been disliking about it until now: that the characters are poorly developed. Even after halfway through the book, I can't bring myself to care about the characters and whether they live or die. It's honestly the myth that's still keeping me reading. That being said, Yasen and Zarya's friendship is growing on me a little.

This volume...just has one last chapter remaining and it's not getting updated since two months??? Like I just wanna finish this manga and put it behind me. Please give me the last chapter 🫩
