Hooked

The recent chapter on time rings so many bells as a woman. Doesn't it feel like we always have to chase some invisible clock? Even having time off is frowned upon. I'm most likely not going to be a mother but I have the highest respects to all the moms out there for their unpaid and underappreciated labor. Your work is the true backbone of the society.

Banger after banger! I'm so happy I picked this up.

Currently loving the mixture of personal stories and mythology. I love a good memoir and I have always been fascinated by myths! This will probably be a good time.

An unrelated, maybe not, realization that I had while listening to this audiobook was how much of a gullible person I am. Just because it's published neatly in a book, doesn't mean it's the truth. Just because someone "reputable" mentioned it, doesn't mean it's real either. I should not just accept ideas. I should think about what I think about these ideas.
