I’ve read all manners of gore and violence from stephen king so far but why is it the description of annie’s disgusting house of rotting food the first thing to ever make me gag in one of his books.

I get that im like the last person in the world to read this book and that the introduction is for rereaders and long time fans but like. Why did it basically go over every single plot point going to happen. Were new readers just suppose to skip that.

This book is mid but I love that she’s a soccer mom psychopath. I hope she wins.

giving freida mcfadden one more shot, if I don’t like this one then she’s just not for me.

lowkey I called the big whodunit early in the book but im not even mad about it, I like when there’s proper foreshadowing and it doesn’t feel like the reveal sprung from nothing.

So many mystery books are so formulaic this really is a breath of fresh air

This book isn’t really turning out to be what I was expecting, but I think that’s a good thing.

I’m ngl the British narrator is throwing me off a bit.

finding out this was his third book is crazy to me. it’s so well written I’ve been hooked since the first chapter.

hate to be that person but god there’s a reason stephen king has a cult following. his writing is just unparalleled.
