Finished 2 chapters so far and I'm enjoying the author's humor and style. There's a bit of a disjointed quality to the author's "voice" which doesn't quite let me lose myself with the story for a truly immersive experience, but I find myself bookmarking and taking notes often as he presents a treasure trove of science fiction and fantasy references as well as some historical elements.
