Sigh. I really enjoy this author and I want to like this series, but - meh. The characters are lame, the plots are so transparent as to not be worthy of the word “plot”, and the stories don’t hold my attention. That said, this one is somewhat better than the previous book in the series, so if you just want a light, reasonably pleasant read, give it a go. But don’t say I didn’t warn you!
