When I picked this up at the library, I was expecting a typical high school murder mystery thriller. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the dark academia vibes! I almost returned this without reading it, but now I'm glad I gave it a shot!

"That's the difference between cities and small towns, M says. City people shout at your face. Small town people whisper behind your back."

DNF: Right book, wrong time. Will try to read this another time.
