Oof. I’m around half way through this and so far I can’t say it’s holding up to book 1.
Book two suffers from what I like to call established couple syndrome and it’s when we spend the first book absolutely enthralled by the burn of the couple getting together and then in book two the author has to tie up plot points from book one, but they bloat the whole story with unnecessary sex and misunderstandings
