Interesting to see the different schools of thought between Men and Women regarding Christmas (generally speaking.) I wonder how much is societal and how much is internal wiring.

I'm currently on chapter two "Women: The Christmas Magicians." Given this was published in 1991, the chapter is somewhat dated in the ideas.

This summer I've been rereading a lot of the novels and books I have around the house, mostly the Christmas Romance genre. I'll be back in school in a few weeks, so doing my pleasure reading while I can. Then it's statistics and geology.

Read "Go Set a Watchman" by Harper Lee. I'm still not quite sure what I thought of it. The plot, if you could call it that, seemed different from all the hype in the media. I could tell it was Ms. Lee's first attempt at a novel. It felt more like I was reading the journal of a young adult woman who was trying to work through some stuff.

Jenn is finished with Guilt (Alex Delaware, #28)
Read this in about a day. Not as good as his other books in the series. It lacked the usual punch and was too easy to figure out. No surprise sick twist at the end.

Finished "An Unfinished Marriage" by Joan Anderson. It's the sequel to "A year by the sea." This volume talks about Joan and her husband Robin working their way back to each other. Fabulous read.

Recently read "A Year By The Sea: Thoughts Of An Unfinished Woman" by Joan Anderson. Amazing book.I pulled a book off the shelf at the library to look at and this one fell onto the floor. It was as if it was saying "You need to read me."
Ms. Anderson decides to not move with her husband when he gets a new job, and takes a year to find who she is again. The book is a journal of her experience during that year.
