Highsong is a fantastic look into a deadly yet mesmerizing world full of science fiction and marine life. The characters and writing really suck you into the story at a fast pace, but almost too fast for its own good. My main issue is that the climax and resolution are both pretty abrupt and fast. But that just makes me all the more excited to dig into the sequel, Risen! I look forward to reading more!
