Had this version of Wuthering Heights for years since I was a child - bought from the shop at the Brontë parsonage museum in Haworth in about 1990! Reading it now as a quick introduction before getting my head around the full story. There are a lot of characters and with similar names too. Have just seen the 2026 film and loved it so want to see how it compares to the book.

The time has come! 🙄 I found her first book Period Power really useful. I’ve had this book a while and did start listening to it but I didn’t really relate at the time. Now I think is more the time to take it in. Already feel a bit emotional listening to the introduction and knowing someone out there understands.

Really looking forward to reading the last part of this story set on the Island of St Kilda!

Oh go on then! 😂🙈 Apparently the second one is even better than the first and thought good idea to read whilst the first still fresh in my mind!

Read this in my teens and have bought again as I remembered the series was really good and fancied trying again and seeing if my daughter might like.

Reading for work!

I read this book when I was about 16! Of all my books I had during those years this one and another by this author (Dangerous Liaisons) I kept to read again “one day” as I really enjoyed it! That “one day” is now and I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares with the books I read now. It’s also been so long that I literally cannot remember anything about it either!

Couldn’t wait for the paperwork - so listening to the audio!

Oh my goodness, this is me to a T! Inspired by my daughter who has introduced me, this is a concept that I had no idea of it’s existence but which I definitely feel I need in my life! My journal and equipment has arrived and I cannot wait to get started!

Reading this with the youngest, trying to get him into EB. Counting it as a book I’m reading as I am reading it to him. Nice to read a childhood classic again!
