Cannot get through this infernal book!

How very Mr and Mrs Smith. I can't say things are getting any better, though.

Don't think this book can get any more cliche. Don't think any book can.

Ugh. Saying "piss off" and "bugger" do not a Victorian steam punk romance make. This book is teetering on the edge of boredom.

Gawd. She describes her beloved father as a boar and a cur. Where is this story going?

Also reminds me of Narnia.

This book is ringing strikingly familiar - kind of reminds me of Julie Kagawa's Iron Fae series...

" - Who says that?! It's unreal! How is it possible I'm in love with every single one of the male characters in this book?!

This is proving to be pretty disappointing. The guy's name is Skye? Why would Lana accept his totally random and uncalled for kiss attempt if he couldn't even remember her name right? He called her Laura!
Seriously. I hate that puny weak-in-the-knees thing you get with infatuated heroines.

God! How do you pronounce Aoife anyway?

Really intense. I feel like if I miss so much as one word, I'll lose the entire story - which is something I haven't decided is a good or bad thing just yet. I suppose it's not as OHMYGODLOVETHISBOOK as I anticipated, but still very interesting, and I'm only half way through the book, there is hope yet :)

SCORE! I finally found this book! So who cares of all it cost me were, like, ONE THOUSAND viruses on my computer?

So now she's sexually active with a polar bear snow man, has morning sickness, and can't remember the last time she's had her period? What are the odds? Gawd, I am so hating this book! Make it end!

I'm sorry, but I'm not convinced, and how exactly did she get to know her Beloved Almighty King Bear in one week, without seeing him around other beings or having any real conversation? "I resented my rents as a teen" so doesn't count!

Not that I'm feeling any particularly strong emotion as "exasperation" at this moment. This book only has some mild intrigue at this moment. It still has potential, but my patience is wearing thin.

Ugh. That'll be the day, when people get that stubbornness in a heroine can also be exasperating, not always is it necessarily endearing.

I'm pretty sure people who say "I'd wager" don't say "squish" in the same sentence.

Chapter 8, and I am still so bored...

Ugh. So high maintenance!

Why are rich heiresses buying elaborate drawings of blond pixie like faeries? And why is Alyssa so damn whiny all the damn time?

Blech. I'm on page 100 and this book is not getting any better than when I first started it.
