How I view my star ratings


One star: severely disliked
Two star: disliked, but may have one or two redeeming qualities
Three star: ok, nothing amazing but decent. Wouldn't read again unless it's part of a series I enjoy.
Four star: I liked it. I would read again.
Five stars: I'd Reread this book. Loved it!

I'm wondering whether or not to keep reading to see if the writing gets any better or to quit and spend time reading something that isn't filled with tropes.... I hate giving up on books so I'll probably read until the end. Any thoughts to those who've read this?
