Holy moly, when I saw the title of this book I thought it was grinding in the gaming sense of working hard to get better at something not... literal grinding 😬

Well this book definitely makes Mexico sound crazy. Not sure how accurate the average Mexican person would find that! The second part of the book seems to be a more general history or a series of case studies about death rather than an exploration of evil though.

There's some interesting stuff in here. I do prefer the true crime half to the history of evil half, so it's a bit disappointing when the first half of each chapter is shorter 😭

Still kinda dull.
