I joined the advance team for this book b/c I am a huge fan of Shannon Evans, but honestly I thought I was past the need for it. It's a long time since I suffered from the idea that I'm supposed to be ONLY a mom.

Yet every time I open the book, it seems to smack me right in the face w/something incredibly applicable to the exact situations I'm encountering--as woman, not necessarily as mom.

Incredible food for thought here! And very timely for me to be thinking about boundaries and what makes me angry/resentful--because how else can I fix what's wrong?

Writer friends will know this already, but whew! I had no idea how much time & brain power can be sucked up by book promotion. Still, I am on fire revising #2, set in wine country. I'm about halfway through and have set a goal to be finished around the first of May.
