Connor is 55% done with The Pearl
The book explores the theme of Greed and jealousy. This allowed me to connect the Holocaust. Both Kino and the Jews were victims of jealousy. Kino had a pearl, the Jews had money while the Germans didn't. Both events caused negative things to happen to the ones causing greed. *Spoilers ahead*. While Kino had the choice to take away the Pearl away from himself, the Jews didn't have the opportunity to repress Germans

Connor is finished with Seriously... I'm Kidding
While this book was entertaining and extremely hilarious, it lacked structure and formality. Reading this book was like watching Ellen on TV. Despite the poor structure, Ellen is good at taking you through a journey. It is also easy to relate to her after reading this book. I would recommend this book to anyone. but don't expect a serious read. Overall, it is still not bad
