Books without a limited third-person pov throw me off balance. I'm coming to this because I loved the two anime adaptations and want to know more of the world of Vampire Hunter D, so let's see what's up

So far so good. Stephen King writes about American culture so well. It's one of the reasons I fear writing contemporary fiction set in countries and cultures I haven't been in.

Witty and funny short stories. Gaiman writes prose so beautifully and reads them so smooth and relaxing as well.

I can't stress how it has been SINCE I FELT ABOUT A BOOK AAAA.

I'm getting such a kick out of this one

I like how Jane describes every little gesture Mr. Rochester makes

Back then, Frank Miller was restrained enough to make cohesive stories with exciting arcs. He still makes Batman a bit of a fascist, and his political ideas sip in there, but it's a good story nonetheless.

Very insightful so far. Goes to detail and talk about structure a lot, and is useful for other mediums too.

The more it goes forward, the more divergent it becomes from the show.

Mr. Brocklehurst is a POS, Helen is lovely, and I relate to Jane a lot. The gothic backdrop of the novel by Charlotte Brontë is very relatable to how many people, especially women, live in the middle east. It's saddening and empowering at the same time. Loving it so far.
