Apparently someone hacked my goodreads account to follow and like a bunch of totally random stuff, the most pointless thing I could imagine doing. Hopefully changing my password has stopped it.

I made a reading schedule. I'm sticking to it. I'm gonna finish an actual book this year. At least one.

Enjoying this as a fun piece of pop history so far, really love how much art is in it!

I marked this as "currently reading" JUST because I feel like I need to EMPHATICALLY state how BAD THIS SUCKS. 39 pages in I was like "there's no fucking way people like this" and then I looked up this collection on here and found out the majority of this book ISNT actually Days of Future Past? It's a recap of the entire story of the X-Men and then some Dr Strange Dante's Inferno shit. Oh my god.

I wish I had more mental energy to finish this because it's extremely good and I really like it.

IT'S SO GOOD.

This fucking rules. Buy it. Make sure to read the intro. I'm having a great time over here.

Hopefully I'm through the parts where I just have to sort of accept as given that Jesus is real and did say the things that are in the Bible. I think there are lot of profound points in this book even for non-religious people like me, but it's a lot.

Wow. This book kicks off hard. I'm finding it to be a really captivating read, despite the fact that I am not necessarily the target audience (I am an atheist, not Christian). Deeply relevant. After finishing two chapters it's given me a lot to think about re: American self-image and thinking through our current moment.

I've been reading this book off and on for 20 months.

Trying to finish every book I've left half-finished before the end of the year. This one will be the hardest I think.

The interviews with Mitsumasa Anno and Ashley Bryan were outstanding. I really appreciated the sensitivity and compassion they demonstrated for children's experiences in the world and how it parallels with their own life experience.

Very much enjoying this so far. Though much of the content on word gaps is outdated, as it is currently either debunked or at least held under a bit more scrutiny. Could be that I am enjoying it because it's affirming my own beliefs?

Reading this book is like pulling teeth. May have to DNF.
