I think this book has proven how past experiences affect your decisions. An example of this is how the character Hunger McCoy stopped name calling another kid due to his mom falling sick. I wonder why the character Christopher Goodman acts so differently from the other kids; maybe he has just always made friends differently than others, or maybe a event in his life transformed him and caused him to act that way.

The book"Who Killed Christopher Goodman" is a story filled with a new suspect in each chapter. The story begins with an introduction on who Chris is, a weird, but funny and kind guy. When I began reading, I wondered why it was always being mentioned that Chris was a weird kid. Sure, he was different, but why did every chapter mention it? I wonder what was the reason for the murder, and if he was intentionally killed.

When Juana and Kino are followed by their neighbors when they try and sell the pearl I wondered how the neighbors felt. I think that if I were a neighbor I would be jealous, because, what would Kino have done to deserve the pearl more than I, and, would he help us out of poverty too? But I would also find hope in Kino, hope that I could escape poverty, and hope that I would be able to find the pearl of the would.

Though this is an easier read, I enjoy reading this collection of comics. I find that the comic changed while the author's life started to change. For example, all characters had white skin till 1968, the year the character Franklin was created. But, 1968 was also the same year the civil rights movement ended, and in 1964 the civil rights act was passed. Would the comic be different if it was written in 2019?

After loosing her memory, Alice has decided to pretend she remember the past decade of her life, and leaves the hospital. After arriving in a home that is hers, she tries to find clues to her past. What caused her divorce? But she finds flowers, adressed to her, not from her husband.Who are these from? She then learns of Gina. The more she finds, the more her questions grow, but will she find all she is looking for?

"The pearl", is a story of hope, fear, and success. Kino is a poor indian. After his young son, Coyotito, suffers a scorpian bite, Kino and Juana must go to the rich side of town to confront the doctor they can't afford for help. The doctor, a slothful, selfish man, refuses to treat Coyotito. After Kino strikes rich, the doctor offers to help, but is the doctor truly helping? Or is he the one causing the problems?

"What Alice Forgot", by Liane Moriarty, is about a woman named Alice who suffers a accident which leads to her forgetting the past decade of her life. From her point of view, she was just on her honey moon with her husband, but now, for reasons unknown to her, they are getting a divorce, they have children, and she no longer has a job. Now, without her husband, she must piece together that last 10 years of her life.

So far in "The Perfume", by Caroline B. Cooney, Dove has discovered the new perfume, Venom, which is sold in only "Dry Ice". A store with every new popular item, a store that every teenage girl loves, a store that has always seemed suspicious to 15 year old Dove. A store that blocks your vision of the exit once you enter has always seemed odd to Dove, and now, with "Venom", the store seems more suspicious than ever.

So far in "Fog: Loosing Christina" Christiana has transferred from her small foggy town on the island to the mainland to go to school. When Christiana moved in with a new family to watch her during the school year, she realizes that she must learn that she can't complain to her family about horrible situation on the mainland, because she, nor her parents, can do anything about it.

I am abandoning this book because I found the plot confusing and slow-paced. I also felt that the author made the story longer than it needed to be and that there was a lot of clutter.
For example, in many books I feel that a lot happens in a single chapter, though in this book I felt that I could easily summarize what happened. I found the beginning of the book gripping, but the middle confusing and slow paced.

"The Secret Life Of Bees" is about a young girl who runs away from her father. I empathize for Lily because she is often not sure what to believe. For instance, Lily is not sure if her father was being truthful or not when he claimed that the day her had mother died was the same day she had been about to run away from home, run away from her husband, run away from the farm, and away from Lily.
