As Squeaky continued his journey, my opinion on him changed rapidly. At first, I thought he was a coward with high standards for himself. However, after risking everything to help Cassia, I thought he was a selfless and brave man. He escaped his village to help Cassia's group escape. However, he was found and been declared a traitor to the village. Not everybody would do that, even the people with the bravest heart.

Squeaky, the main character of the story, is a very open minded character who also has a really good attitude even at terrible situations. To avoid death and war from the Manchus, he started a journey with 3 of his villages enemies: the Youngs (during his time, the Phoenix and the Young were born enemies, just like the Dinka and the Nuer). This experience allowed him to be much more open-minded in the future.

This book reminded me of an old friend. When he transferred over, he was just like Mark, stubborn and showing no respect to anybody. That was until there was this huge group project, which led to respect to this school.

I abandoned this book. This book isn't boring, however, it's way too old. This story happened at the time when there was still family tea. Then, you add live Indians from way back to the story. Way too old. However, if you like to learn about Indians, this is a good book for you.

Mark, the main character in the story, is like many of the students in SAS. Not poor, high scores, and the typical kid with non-stop classes. After the move to a new school, he became stubborn and mad, hoping to return. I wonder how "A week in the woods" would affect him.

The main character of this story, Tamar, reminds me of Shade from Nightwing. Both of them are on a journey, and both of them are in un-human worlds. Other than that, they have similar personalities, so rash, not thinking things through. So young.

This book is bout Shade, a young bat, who was the runt of his family. He reminds about Moose from another book. He had to adapt to new places just like Shade, who got lost in the storm. In the end of Moose's story, he got what his family wanted. For my guess, I think that Shade would return and complete the goal that his family wants to accomplish.
