Finally got a clear explanation to profit rate equalization! A hotly debated topic in heterodox circles...

Just the appendices left! That went by quickly. I have a deeper appreciation for the complexity of the state and the various class and nonclass processes it participates in.

Income chapters have been very insightful, particularly the distinction of what is defined as "profit" outside of Marxism vs. surplus value within Marxism.

So much Marxian concepts covered in such a short span, and explained in such an easy-to-understand fashion too! Exploitation, competition, accumulation, crisis, I wish I read this sooner!

Fundamental and subsumed class process explained clearly and succinctly!

Jumping straight into the Marxian chapter. Wolff and Resnick's Althusserian roots are evident. Very accessible so far!

Easy to understand introduction to Dialectical Materialism. Got a grasp of materialism, consciousness, law of contradictory unity, social practice and knowledge fairly quickly. Joma is quite the accessible writer.

Fantastic chapter. A very clear and concise explanation of the rate of profit and its determinants.
