Another classic from TomPalmet. As always, well researched with Tom’s wonderful way of threading in facts as his story unwinds. I’ve it read a middle grade book that tackles PTSD before so that was interesting. I just wish the girl hadn’t been called Tarn, it was confusing and didn’t seem to add anything to the story, otherwise it would have been a five star review.

At just an hour and a half this is a quick audiobook to listen to. It’s such a fun read. Lots of laughs and cringy moments we’ve all been through. Echoes of The Humiliation of Welton Blake. Loved it.

Fabulous story about life as seen through the eyes of a dog. It’s about making a stand, finding friends, learning who to trust, growing up, deciding who you are. A lovely allegorical tale about oppression, war and what comes after victory. 4 ½ stars simply because Rebel was a bit too winey for me at the beginning but I get why that was.

I got as far as chapter four but the writing is too amateurish I’m afraid.
