It’s a very interesting deep dive into the 2008 election process and the American election system in general. I’m very pleased with Obama’s narration and appreciate his neutrality on people he technically opposes. Compared to Trump it’s clear he knows how to present himself at all time and how to cope with step backs.

So far cautiously optimistic about the book. The premise is intriguing, I enjoy the small time atmosphere and 70’ setting, which King wrote in the same decade, it feels like a time capsule and a glimpse into the pre-internet era. The amount of names dropped in the second chapter is a little overwhelming.

I’m intrigued how the plot is going to resolve. The book is fun!

Some of the pieces are falling together but overall, I’m not sure where the plot is going. Slightly worried it might disappoint.

Slightly better than the first book but still not even close to as good as I remember.
