This story has taken a turn from one about a bada** historian who has no fear and is total control of her life, to one who (checks notes) just slept for 4 days in a row because she saw a disturbing picture and spends 75% of her time describing smells. I'm starting to skip through the lengthy descriptions and am thinking about giving up.
