Loved it and the series

Still an amazing read!

I love this book! I just wish I had more time to read it....I can only grab a few pages here and there!

I'm in love with this true life story! It is written extremely well and I just wish I had more time to finish it soon! I'm dying to know what is next for Louie.

I think I'm going to like this book! I'm already engaged in the life of Louie and anxious to see how his life progresses from a poor Italian boy who constantly and defiantly gets into trouble (even criminal trouble) to where he becomes an athlete in the Berlin Olympics and then to go on to be an airman during World War II. And lastly, I'm curious to learn of the details of being shot down over the Pacific Ocean.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to finish this book. I prefer not to have what I personally consider extreme foul language in my books just as I don't engage in conversations in my life with such language. So even though I like the premise of the story & am interested in what happens with the main character John, I can't continue because the language is too harsh and upsets me. Others might enjoy it tho.
