It's hard not to see some similarities between this book and the Odd Thomas series, especially considering the overt usage of the term 'psychic magnetism'. I love that concept tbh, but it seems strange to be retreading those steps. Still, I'm enjoying this, and a German Shepherd just showed up, so I'm 100% invested. It's very Koontz.
