Karen is reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Easy read. Not a bad story. A nobody writer gets to write the life story of a major star. One big twist in an otherwise somewhat predictable novel. She gets married over and over again but the live if her life is a woman. The marriages are mainly to distract or gain attention.

Still enjoying the series. Tiggy has the gitano gift of healing and knowing. This book mainly takes place in Spain and Scotland. Laird of the Scottish manor becomes the live interest. As usual, all's well that ends well

This book was old school. A armored car heist by a man wanted by the mob who'd had plastic surgery to start a new life. Enjoyed, an easy read

Not as good as the 1st in the series. I wanted to smack Amara a lot, mainly b/c of falling in love with the slave and choosing to get pregnant by him. And her dealings with Felix were infuriating.

Karen is reading The Wolf Den (Wolf Den Trilogy, #1)
Amara seeks her freedom from being a slave/prostitute in ancient Pompeii. This was an interesting read; lots of references to Greek gods, life in Pompeii (the opulence and poverty) and the misery of being a slave. Took me a bit to get into the book but I did eventually want to find out what happens between Amara, Pliny, Rufus and Menander.
