I would recommend this book for girls around the age of 12-16. So far it's about Sophie and her boy troubles. She has found a boyfriend, Dylan, but she thinks things are going down hill a bit in their relationship.

The author of this book, Robert Newton Peck, uses words and phrases that aren't grammatically correct in today's society. He uses words and phrases that most people would say is from "Wild West"

Them main character is Tullis Yoder, a young boy that loves horses and would do anything to save them. He is brave, smart, kind, and polite. He doesn't have any family to go to so for now he is living with Doc. Platt. She lost her son awhile back and if he were still here he would be around Tuliss' age. Doc. Wanted her son back but she knew that would never happen and so she settled for Tullis.

Tullis Yoder is an orphan who has ran away and has been working on a bunch of different ranches. He decided to join the rodeo circuit. He wants to be a bull rider. He has never even sat on a bull but he is determined to give his best effort when he does sit on one.

Friendly and funny poems. All are quite simple and most are quite short.
