Bro, the virginity thing just honestly pisses me off. It takes away from what “virginity” is of LGBTQ+ communities as well. Not everything has to be penetration. This book just keeps going downhill.

I fear that this might be a Hermione and Draco fanfic in the flesh. But not a smart Hermione and one that lusts over her captor even though she is in extreme power imbalance.

I truly liked the start of the book, but the main character’s actions, thoughts, and development is so subpar and goes nowhere. I’m starting to slowly drag my feet through it because of Briony’s cringey and irrational behavior.

I’m sorry, but this book’s dialogue can be so outright hilarious sometimes that I have to close it because I’m laughing so much. Priest did amazing for that because I never find humor in books but they aced this one.

It’s okay. Can be slow but then picks up. I like the mystery surrounding Shen Wei and the hidden agenda behind him. Daqing is also so funny.

This book is so annoying. I dislike the main character immensely
