Jeff Hancock is 40% done with Navigators of Dune (Schools of Dune, #3)
It's fine. I'm not liking this one as much so far because none of the characters are likable. The main three are power-hungry, vindictive, and petty.

I'm not seeing a good way to get from these books to where the universe is at the beginning of Dune, and I don't suspect the authors will find one either.
