Is it me or the narrator/FMC is a tad negative about other people. Like she tries so hard to keep positive and always default to negatives after all. Plus out of all her paintings she choses self-portrait to promote herself - nah she knows she's pretty tho pretends not to be. Pet peeve of mine.

I don't think I'm smart enough for this book

Is it as magical as the first book? No.
Do I like how it focuses on Preston more? Absolutely!

Tho let's not pretend this book doesn't read like 1,184,472 others with the same theme: we won't talk to each other to strain our relationship for one reason only - to push the story forward.
