Not terribly acquainted with Tchaikovsky (I read Elder Race, thought it was decent) but I am kind of surprised at how lightweight this is considering it's bulk - stock characters in wacky shapes, a literal "well, that happened" that I'm still trying to forgive it for. Reads like franchise fiction, not surprised at all that he wrote some Black Library stuff.

Oh my GOD this stinks, tempted to push though as it's so short but truly nothing about this is entertaining.
