y'all on april 14, day 5 of reading this, i reached the halfway mark 😭😭 i've been reading it a bit slower nowadays because of being busy with school or just tired, but woww it's crazy that i'll finish this probably by the end of this week. i thought this would take much longer to read

idk why but this feels like home 😭 i don’t even like the bridgerton show THAT much, but this book feels so comforting and i love the entire world and characters julia quinn has created.

shirley jackson books always start off with a bang and this is no different. she’s a master at immediately setting the tone, slipping wry humor into her descriptions, and crafting memorable characters.
