Spider 🙌

The only horror film to truly scare me and I thought it was wise to read the book at night HAHAHA I’m nauseous

It’s actually unreal how much more I’m understanding this whole series on a 2nd/3rd read. I must’ve been too shell-shocked by its chaos the first time to fully soak everything up

I’ve been reading this slowly to delay a certain scene, and now I actually feel physically sick knowing it’s here

Rereading this, it’s really no wonder most of us assumed Kevin was the romantic endgame. The tension is thickkkk ☺️

“Light glinted off a bright yellow racquet as the stranger took a swing—“

Ahh here comes my boy 😌

So help me fucking god…

I highly respect the readers who can follow the world-building/politics of this series because I’m not understanding shit; my brain blows a raspberry every time a region, war or leader is mentioned I stg 😌

I’m enjoying this so far but I swear 3 epic events have occurred and it feels like they’ve all started and finished on the same page. What’s the HURRY? WHAT ARE WE RUNNING FROM?

“So it was you that was your own friend, was it?”
“Every man’s his own friend, my dear… He hasn’t as good a one as himself anywhere.”
“Except sometimes… Some people are nobody’s enemies but their own, yer know.”

This man is OUTRAGEOUS

That kitchen scene godDAMN, kept me reading instead of watching the match I’d specifically stayed up till 4am to watch 🥲

There’s only so many times a girl can storm out of battle brief without any explanation before someone tells her to sit her ass down, surelyyy

…Wait…
