This book really reminds me of Jia Tolento's book Trick Mirror in tone, which I dnf's. Feels weirdly shallow and also I am not a fan of the writing style and tone. Also feel like it's written for and marketed to a very specific demographic which I'm not included in

Not that I disagree but it's tiresome how many times she is mentioning Trump. Like ok you don't need to signal too much that you don't like him... we get it ok

I hateeeee being in Luke's head. This book is Not Good but I'm a sucker for dark ancient forests... Hutch is the only character I like, the writing is meh. I loved the film until the end where he just ran for 5 minutes and was out of the evil forest so I need to see what happens with that (I just got a kindle and am making the most out of the free kindle unlimited subscription)
