It doesn't repeat the answers in full sentences for the audible practice exam. It just states the answer, which is terrible for learning through an audio format. In some parts it does though, I remember appreciating that in some parts!

Reviewing the architecture patterns themselves because I thought it was what I most struggled with but looking back at the table of contents, I should review the beginning itself and maybe then the patterns can make more sense!

Sometimes it can be hard to define what architecture characteristics are, and also implicit characteristics, which are termed that because it's hard to get a team to focus on them if they're called "non-functional characteristics". The first law of architecture is that everything is a trade off! I can't remember what the others are, but you never really choose the best architecture, just the worst least one!!!

Intro mentions this book is practical but gives a nod to theory. :)

I think it's a great start - presents the reader with common attacks and defined what cyber security is. I mean most people would operate under the assumption that it involves protecting damage to assets and data, but damage to reputation is a pretty big one.

If you protect your company a million times, and you fail on the very next attack, no one mentions the company was protected, successfully, that many times.

Oh how I've fallen in love with this book. By presenting the problems organizations ran into, and introducing the founding fathers, if you will, of cloud computing, we can finally understand how prevalent and revolutionizing the cloud truly is. :wide_smile:

Clear and engaging narration. I can see myself going back to this book as a reference :D although the chapters aren't titled for the audiobook. (Each chapter name is read out loud and there is, of course, a ToC and an accompanying summary.)

The role is not what one expects in that oftentimes one has to do less coding and one no longer has to prove themselves to others in their organization.
