I devoured this book in three sessions. Rabia is an amazing woman. I believe her. She writes in a manner that you feel she is in the room talking to you. I'd like to know James version and the "official" version of the army. I'd also like to know if the passage of time and grandchildren has healed family wounds somewhat. I hope so. Thank you for sharing your story Rabia :-)

We stepped back in time to her childhood and growing up with the challenges that brought and how it shaped her. Then we reached adulthood, some career changes and information about her marriage. Now we're just getting on the plane to Basra. I don't want to give too much away for others who may wish to read this book.

So far everything I've read matches her media interviews. I'm looking forward to reading some more.

Have to read a book when it has a cute dog on the cover!

It was an ok read but it was challenging to keep up with all the characters and what they did.

Enjoying it, but find I need to concentrate on who the characters are and their relationship ... A bit confused at times but that's me, not the author!

A fascinating insight into the life of Hayley Okines and her family. I didn't know much about Progeria and am glad to have learned about it and the tenacity of a young woman to live her life to the fullest!

Still not enthusing me ...

I'm reading this slowly because I'm really not enjoying it :-( Feel like tossing it aside but keep hoping it will improve ... and I don't want to give up either!
