The significant theme in this novel is that you should never let anyone bring you down. If you let that person bring you down they’ll do it more and more non-stop, and might just take advantage of you.

The significance of the title relates to the protagonist because, Niki is always putting herself down about her talents. I know that she is a good artist, but so far I’m aware that’s the only talent she has.

Niki Maxwell in my opinion doesn’t change. Niki seems her regular modern day 8th grade girl, she has a crush, two best friends, and an enemy. Niki is always saying how much she hates her enemy, how amazing her friends are and how they sometimes frustrate her. But, of course she talks about her crush a lot, so far Niki hasn’t changed her silly self one bit.

All the other characters have parents with really good paying jobs and have all of these expensive clothes, while Nikki is just an average girl.

From the information I've learned I would like to share with someone else that it is wrong to treat other races differently because of their history and skin color, because it could lead to a serious misunderstanding.
