Excited about graduation not least because it means I can read whatever I want without having my reading time monopolized by seminars!

Ugh I am crying already.

So Freddy G had a whippet named Biche, which made me giggle. She was captured during battle with the Austrians and presumably hacked to pieces. That made me sad. But miraculously, she had only been taken prisoner and was returned to Freddy G in a heartwarming reunion in which she jumped on his desk and gave him a hug. This made me happy. Also, that is all I will remember of this 400-page book by next week's class.

WHY was the only seminar that fit into my schedule a military history seminar? Possibly the only major area of history where I have zero interest AND zero knowledge. I am almost starting to wax nostalgic about last semester.
