I am on the verge of DNFing this book with how mad I am. This whole thing has been terribly, horribly drawn out. Good lord.

I was like… surely I must be nearing the end of this book. It seems like the story is wrapping up. NO! I’M ONLY HALFWAY?

This keeps making me cry and I have to stop and process for a long time. Darrow just wants to go home. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

good lord why does Rina Kent insist upon writing such LONG sequences about this massive friend group I don’t care about? she did this in the other book of hers I read too. Such boring scenes and so irrelevant to the plot 90% of the time. I’ve resorted to skimming/skipping them 😩

4 stars for the Snow content in the epilogue.
