On page 557 of 3850 - Roses was killed and we have entered Chapel.

Have hooked up with Rampage and blown up Deus. Currently in Flank.

Blackjack has fired the revolver 'Trottenheimer's folly' for the first time after his DNA was accepted by the arcane technology. Blew out a Vertibuck and most of the control tower. Morning Glory got branded as a Dashite.
What an intense, multilayered story that demands to be read more than once. It is like a song that you like and have to hear more than once.

On Ch7 p185/3850
Been to the Fluttershy medical centre where war ravaged foals were trapped, conscious, inside a status machine for two centuries and were 'playing' with the facility and killing visitors in the most vile ways. To them it was 'playing'. Blackjack pulled the plug on the lot.

Going strong on Chapter 5. Have rescued Glory, visited Megamart, which I only now realise is close to the Hoofington core. And Star House must be nearby as the bridge to the core is not too far off. Very different perspective to my last read of the book.

About to start chapter 3 where Scoots is killed. A glorious read.

On page 26 of 3850

This is my third read of this amazing book. It is over 1.72 million words long and takes a while to read. Keep in mind that all the Harry Potter books combined only adds up to 1,08 million words.

That was a nice little read.

Short story but gripping.

Started off fairly enjoyable, took a few strange turns and now is getting decidedly freaky in its undercurrents. I am still intrigued as to where it is going to end up.

I keep thinking that Salman Rushdie may have written this given the magical realism.
