I refuse to DNF and 1-star this book, but it’s a real slog.

I don’t know if I’ve set my expectations too high after the Wandering Inn (excellent) and He Who Fights With Monsters (better!) but I’m struggling with this and I’m glad it’s only 12ish hours for the first two books together. There’s an Audible review from someone who listened to the entire series and it’s worth reading - the big criticism is that this isn’t LitRPG as advertised, it’s cultivation.
