Only one chapter in and that already left me bawling like a baby good lord

If Tamsyn didn’t spend most of her vocabulary knowledge on describing useless architecture rather than the plot of the story then I would have finished this with ease, but the current flow of the book is not only slow, but pointless. There is no worldbuilding, no magic system explanation, and half, if not all, of the paragraphs are unreadable apart from the sex jokes and banter. Kinda disappointed

Idk what’s going on Im just here for lesbian, violence, and the tit jokes. The writing is amazing I think its what makes Tamsyn stand out from other authors but I think she gets so lost in her own writing that Im starting to get lost in the writing; its hurting my brain
