Damn, this might be the longest book I've read since Gone With the Wind in my teens. It's good. But it's long.

This book is long as hell, but I'm definitely into it.

OMG this freaking book is tearing me up. That's why it's taking me so long, because it's so good but I have to take mental health breaks.

I usually struggle with omniscient POV, but it's not keeping me from enjoying the book this time.

This book is really gripping but <spoiler>I hope you know how horrible it is for a mother of young children to read about a young child dying. My 3 year old is not leaving the house today. </spoiler>

Love KC Wells and I'm really liking this book. The written out accents are driving me crazy though. I'm a born and raised southern girl, so I can hear it in my head anyway, but all the apostrophes and bad grammar are really distracting... and kinda borderline insulting... College educated Southerners can usually manage not to say things like "afore."
But seriously, love the story when I can get past the accents.
